The
Coffee House
With
candle light, a stage set against a brick wall and a special homey,
small-town vibe, Groovin' in New Fairfield has created the ideal
ambience for the music lovers in its bedroom community. 4 years
into its existence, the Coffee House is already attracting quality
talent at an impressive rate. Touring professionals are already
booked a year and a half out.
Operating
with a non-profit intention, the Coffee House is able to charge
a nominal $5 per person cover charge, simply to cover the cost of
hiring professional musicians. With an all-volunteer staff and food
donated for a portion of the proceeds, the Coffee House is able
to direct most of its money directly to better and better talent.
